Under the new program framework scheduled to come into effect on November 1, 2017, sending country governments and the government of Japan will conclude Memoranda of Cooperation (MOC) with the aim of eliminating inappropriate sending organizations in cooperation with sending country governments.

*A Memorandum of Cooperation was concluded on October 3, 2018.

The Memorandum further provides that it will no longer be possible to accept technical intern trainees from organizations other than accredited sending organizations as of October 3, 2018.
