On May 12th, 2016, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Mr. Aziz Abdukhakimov and head of sending organization, the Agency for Foreign Labor Migration Affairs (AFLMA), Mr. Ulugbek Nazarov, paid a visit to JITCO.
JITCO expressed its appreciation for the two officials taking the time to visit, then provided an explanation of trends such as the diversification of receiving countries and amendments to the Technical Intern Training Program.
Mr. Abdukhakimov expressed his and Mr. Nazarov’s appreciation to JITCO for the opportunity to hold the discussion and stated his intention to continue supporting and cooperating with JITCO. Moreover, there was an explanation that the Uzbekistan government was proactively engaging in the sending of technical intern trainees by establishing a training center specifically tailored to trainees destined for Japan where they wish to focus on teaching the Japanese language, as well as the culture, customs and laws of Japan.
