On October 26, 2011, a regular meeting was held with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (hereafter “MLVT”). In order to cooperate with the economic integration of the ASEAN community, scheduled to be achieved by 2015, human resource cultivation in Cambodia is an urgent task. In light of that, both parties verified the need to actively utilize JITCO’s system.

On October 27, a sending organization seminar was held with the cooperation of the MLVT. It was attended by a total of 45 people from 24 organizations, including accredited sending organizations as well as other organizations interested in having technical intern trainees dispatched to Japan. At the seminar, JITCO conducted a briefing about its system and a question and answer session. In the question and answer session, there were questions asked about such things as the procedure for sending trainees from Cambodia and their period of stay.
