A delegation from the Department of Employment of the Ministry of Labour, the governmental contact for Thailand, including Deputy Director-General Suchat, Minister Counsellor for Labour Suchada of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo and others from the Tokyo Labor Consular Office, visited JITCO on July 6, 2017.
During their discussions, JITCO explained the status in Japan regarding modification of the technical intern training program and indicated that it had conducted highly successful briefings in various regions of the country this year.
The Thai delegation explained the status of sending in Thailand and expressed its continued support for the cooperative relationship with JITCO following modification of the technical intern training program and its hope that the number of trainees would increase.
