The Myanmar Deputy Minister of Labour, Immigration and Population travel to Japan on November 28, 2017 and met with JITCO officials. JITCO explained the revisions to the technical intern trainee program and JITCO’s role following modification of that program. The Myanmar side expressed its commitment to continuing cooperation with JITCO after the execution of a new Memorandum of Cooperation, which is scheduled to be executed in the future.
