On December 23, 2019, the government of Japan concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation (bilateral agreement) with the government of Pakistan regarding specified skilled workers. The Memorandum of Cooperation provides a basic framework for information sharing and consultation to ensure the smooth and proper sending and acceptance of overseas specified skilled workers and the resolution of problems that overseas specified skilled workers might experience while working in Japan.
