The Holding of the Kyrgyz Talent Forum and Consultation with Kyrgyzstan Government Contact Organizations

On October 25, 2019, a Kyrgyz Talent Forum (organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Tokyo, Japan) was held at JITCO Headquarters in Tokyo, with His Excellency Chingiz Aidarbekov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, taking part. The Forum featured an address by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as presentations providing general background information on Kyrgyzstan and the current state of Japanese language education in Kyrgyzstan, and talks by representatives of Japanese business enterprises that have recruited human talent from Kyrgyzstan or have established a presence in the country, regarding the special characteristics of the Kyrgyzstan and the potential for collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, etc. There were nearly 90 Japanese participants at the Forum, and there was a lively question-and-answer session and exchange of business cards. After the seminar, there was a tasting session for Kyrgyz specialty products (including Samsa meat pastries, honey, brandy, etc.) organized by the Embassy, which attracted very positive comments from the participants.

On the day immediately prior to the Forum (October 24), JITCO representatives engaged in consultation with His Excellency Chingiz Aidarbekov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and with His Excellency Mirlan Arstanbaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan, exchanging views on issues relating to labor and education in Kyrgyzstan and on issues relating to possible future collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, etc .
