Conclusion of a Memorandum of Cooperation (Bilateral Agreement) Regarding Technical Intern Trainees between the Governments of Japan and Indonesia

The government of Japan has concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation (a bilateral agreement) with the government of Indonesia regarding technical intern trainees dated June 25, 2019. With this agreement, Indonesia becomes the 14th nation dispatching technical interns to Japan to conclude a Memorandum of Cooperation. Please be aware that the text provided at the link indicated above specifies that the Indonesian government will commence procedures for the accreditation of sending organizations from July 1, 2019, and will present Japan with a list of accredited sending organizations by January 1, 2020, and further that from May 1, 2020, Japan will only accept technical intern trainees from accredited sending organizations specified on that list.
