On March 14, 2017, JITCO visited and held regular consultations with its Vietnamese government liaisons, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the Department of Overseas Labour (DOLAB) in Hanoi.

 JITCO explained the details of the revisions of the Technical Intern Training Program and its future prospects. It also announced its policy to play a role as a “comprehensive support organization” continuing to focus on business activities aimed at promoting the use of the program. MOLISA and DOLAB expressed their expectations that the revision of the program would lead to further promotion of sound development for the Technical Intern Training Program and contribute to proper implementation of the program. Both sides agreed that it is necessary to maintain and strengthen the cooperative relationship in order to deal with the smooth transition of the newly revised program.
