Consultations with the Vietnam Government Contact Organization

JITCO conducted consultations with the Department of Overseas Labor (DOLAB) of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in Vietnam on January 21 and 26, 2018 and explained to DOLAB the status of changes to the program in Japan. JITCO also responded to a variety of consultations and questions from sending organizations regarding the workings and procedures of the new program. DOLAB expressed its deep gratitude for JITCO’s support activities.

Through these consultations with DOLAB and visits to sending organizations, JITCO gathered various pieces of information regarding current conditions in Vietnam concerning long-term care occupations, the recent status of technical intern trainee recruiting, issues regarding plan application procedures under the new program, and other topics.
