The government of Japan has concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation (a bilateral agreement) regarding specified skilled workers with the government of Vietnam dated July 1, 2019. The Memorandum of Cooperation provides a basic framework for information sharing and consultation to ensure the smooth and proper dispatch and acceptance of overseas specified skilled workers and the resolution of problems that overseas specified skilled workers might experience while working in Japan.
