We hereby announce that the Japanese government concluded a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) on the Technical Intern Training Program with the government of Thailand dated March 27, 2019. With the conclusion of this memorandum, Thailand becomes the 13th sending country in the program.

Furthermore, please be aware that the above link states that “Thailand will provide Japan with a complete list of accredited sending organizations by August 1, 2019 and it commenced procedures on to this end on March 27 2019” and that “Japan will only accept technical intern trainees from Thailand from accredited sending organizations that are included in the list from February 1, 2020 with regard to the accreditation of sending organizations.”
