![]() ![]() Aichi Prefecture is known as the center of Japanese automobile industry. In car making, painting processes require extremely difficult skills. In order to facilitate the advancement of these skills, exhibitions have been held for many years for painters working in Aichi, sponsored by organizations such as Chubu Society of Painting Technology. The 43rd exhibition was held on October 29 and 30, 2008, at the Nagoya Industrial Research Institute. 125 entries in the industry division and 23 in the construction division were displayed. Among those, Ms. Guo's work came on top of the industrial division! Ms. Guo Hui Juan came to Japan on August 31, 2006. She is to complete her 3 years of training and internship in next August and return home. Ms. Guo submitted her work at the exhibition for the first time last year to win the second prize, the Nagoya Mayor's Award. Ever since she arrived in Japan, Ms. Guo has worked very hard to improve in both Japanese communication and painting skills. According to Ms. Guo, she felt more confident in her painting skills after winning the Nagoya Mayor's Award last year. In order to improve even more, Ms. Guo stayed in the factory every day after her internship hours and kept practicing in the training area. Ms. Guo attributes her skills improvement to her instructor, Section Manager Ryoichi Nagasawa at the Kinuura factory. We believe that Ms. Guo Hui Juan will succeed in thoroughly utilizing all of her skills acquired in Japan once returning home to China. *The work displayed behind Ms. Guo is her award-winning 'Non-Compulsory Subject'. |
