A Day Trip to Tokyo

On Wednesday, August 15th, 78 technical interns and trainees affiliated with our co-op made a trip to Tokyo in the summer break.

Many were taking the trip to Tokyo for the first time.  Everyone enjoyed taking pictures at the Kaminari Mon in Asakusa, the river cruise down to Hinode Sanbashi dock, getting surprised by the heights of the skyscrapers in Shinjuku, and savoring the much-awaited food at Indonesian restaurants.

At NHK Studios, everyone tried reading news scripts as an actual news announcer would.  Afterwards, the group explored Akihabara, where there are a multitude of shops.  But seeing the number of stores in reality was a very big surprise.

Although the heat went up to 35 degrees Celsius, like so many other days this summer, we hope the Tokyo trip will remain a happy one in their memories.
