On May 2, 2010, the National Business Support Combined Cooperative organized Regional Trainees Speech Contest in Tokyo. We, the Tozai Commerce Cooperative, led the operations as the executive committee.
Until last year, this contest was held in Meiji Kinenkan. This year, 25 from six cooperatives from the Kanto region and over 300 supporters gathered at Meguro Gajoen.
The level of the publishers improves year by year,too.We appreciate this opportunity for trainees and technical intern trainees to show their hard work in studying Japanese. The speech contest benefits not only the speakers, but also the staff at the accepting companies who teach them Japanese, as well as us at the cooperative. We create stronger bonds by being there and cheering up the publishers.
Some accepting companies have began intensifying the Japanese education in their training programs after attending the speech contest and having been inspired by trainees and technical intern trainees' remarkable presentations.
As a primary accepting organization, we would like to emphasize the importance of Japanese education, which is essential for trainees and technical intern trainees to function better in Japanese society. We hope more accepting companies, trainees and technical intern trainees will be involved.
We are relieved to see the contest finish successfully! We will continue refining and developing the event for next and more years to come.
