In October 24, 2006, JITCO held a Annual Meeting with State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs ("SAFEA").

JITCO indicated that the number of trainees dispatched from SAFEA's eight member organizations continues to be flat, but it wants SAFEA to take necessary measures to increase trainees.
SAFEA explained that it holds annual conference with its eight member organizations and it is instructing them to conduct adequate screening and provide thorough pre-dispatch education. Also, SAFEA added that with the principle of "The accomplishment is the key to overseas training", it is currently collecting the results of trainees and technical interns who have returned from Japan.
