Japanese Essay Contest for Foreign Trainees and Interns

Japanese Essay contest

The 14th Japanese Essay Contest Award Ceremony

October 2006
Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO)

The Japanese Essay Contest Award Ceremony for international trainees and technical interns was held on October 14th, 2006, and was part of JITCO's International Convention program. The contest was organized as a way to support general language learning for trainees and technical interns, and it also provided a place for everyone to express their thoughts and feelings whilst on the program. 3092 essays in total were submitted for the contest.

Certificates for prizes were given at the award ceremony to the trainees and technical interns who had gone through a strict review process.  Winners for outstanding achievement presented their own work in front of the huge audience, who listened enthusiastically.  The award winners' candid presentations detailed their will to help in their home countries economic progress, their ties with their distant family members, and their lives in another country.
