JITCO requests Japanese essay submissions annually as a way of supporting Japanese language skills improvement. The essays submitted focus on life in the Technical Intern Training Program, including such topics as daily experiences, efforts at learning Japanese and future dreams of the contestants. The enthusiasm of the contestants is always inspiring.
